The Only Place to Be in Miami Beach is the Surf Club in Surfside

The southern Bal Harbour area is about to have two new condominium towers and a five-star hotel to call its own. The bonus is that these buildings are going to be designed by the illustrious architect Richard Meier. People know this area as one that is replete with a glorious past. That’s why Meier is planning to preserve this past as he also works to create something new for the future. The planned project will have 150 condominium homes that will have 50 different configurations that incorporate the area’s past into the new design.

The Surf Club in Surfside was constructed way back in 1930, so it had plenty of time to develop a great reputation. In their day, Winston Churchill, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor made frequent appearances at the Surf Club. It was only fitting that a place that would host celebrities such as the ones mentioned above would be designed by Russell Pancoast. Because Richard Meier understands this history, he will keep the Mediterranean villa where it is as he adds his own resplendent designs to the location.

Residents and guests of the Surf Club Hotel and Residences will receive several enviable amenities. The homes will range in size from 1,200 to 8,000 square feet, and the windows will reach from the floor to the ceiling. Some homes will have their own Zen meditation gardens, and they may even have their own swimming pools. The residents’ privacy is assured so that they can spend time on their terraces and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean in peace. The Surf Club Condo Residences are going to be the only place that people will want to be in Miami Beach.
